The West Johnston Indoor Percussion is an extra-curricular activity composed of members from the marching band and interested students selected through auditions.  They compete in the Scholastic A category in both the Atlantic Indoor Association (AIA) and Winterguard International (WGI) sanctioned events.  Their first year was a huge success by finishing in finals at both WGI events they attended, advanced to open class throughout the season, and was awarded the silver medal at the AIA Circuit Championships in open class.
The group would like to extend it's  thanks to Mr. Britt, Mr. Duffy, and to all the parents for their incredible support throughout the season.  They would also like to thank Vic Firth for the incredible equipment they provide.
